Georgie Williams: Pre-season Training 2022

It’s been a very relaxed Winter for me as I’ve only had one horse in work.

Cheeky who went from BE90 to CCI2S last year has spent the majority of the winter season show jumping and getting that all important Dressage practise in.

We’ve recently started training with Adam Kemp who has put an entirely different spin on dressage for me and has transformed my way of training the horses.

We’ve had a good run of show jumping with Cheeky who’s got her newcomer clears for 2022 and will be stepping up to Fox in her next few outings.

For me I’ve been keeping up my fitness routine under the watchful eye of Shaun T (Insanity). And I’ve also subscribed to Piggy TV to get all the insights in how to prepare for the up and coming season.

More recently I have welcomed a new horse to the team a lovely 6y/o by Chilli Morning - she’s a great asset and I’m very excited to get to know her and get out and about.

We’re off XC schooling tomorrow for our final preparation before we start at Moreton BE100 and then hopefully make the step back to Novice.
